Established in the manufacture and sales of storage tanks since 1845, JA Envirotanks
(formerly Joseph Ash Storage Tanks) is a market leader supplying tanks for the storage
of diesel, oils, fuels, chemicals, paints, inks, resins, water and so on. The prime material
used is mild steel plate.
However, all products can also be produced in stainless steel.
The original owner and founder, Joseph Ash, established the Birmingham site in the mass
production
of tanks for all purposes, supplying rivetted oil and water tanks for the expanding railway
industry fuelled by the growing needs of Victorian engineering enterprises. Arc welding was introduced
before the outbreak of the Second World War and by this time storage tanks were being shipped around
the Empire for industrial and marine applications.
With the boom times of post war Britain, Joseph Ash prospered mass-producing petrol and diesel tanks
for service stations.
Now renamed JA Envirotanks to complement the very well established Envirotank product ranges which are secondary contained above-ground enclosed bunded fuel tanks and double contained buried double skinned petrol tanks. All products comply with the latest Control of Pollution Regulations and Environment Agency guidelines.
JA Envirotanks supply enclosed bunded fuel tanks for vehicle refuelling, aircraft refuelling, fuel tanks for heating, power generation, lubrication and many more applications. |
