Reflex lighting Columns

Reflex columns are raised or lowered with a simple ratchet spanner. They are then locked in position to defy vandals
with internal parts in stainless steel. No more struggling with external springs or winches with consequent health and
safety issues. On footpaths, cycle ways and in other areas inaccessible to cherrypickers, the Reflex Column is rapidly gaining popularity.

Traffic Signal and Sign Poles

Mallatite manufacture their traffic signal poles in position to enable maximum pedestrian footway clearance. The signal head is also placed for best observation and yet remains sufficiently set back to avoid high-sided vehicle contact.

Traffic signal poles and sign poles have evolved over time to become more streetwise. Crank signal poles are now positioned to give maximum pedestrian footway clearance and also position the signal head correctly for vehicle requirements. We also offer a full range of sign posts and large base posts in galvanised and coated form.

Construction is to European standards for installation on the highway with the steel poles galvanised and then Abcite coated.

The flowing design, with no mitres and welds, makes cable installation easy and the risk of cable chafing a thing of the past.

Abcite Coating

Thermoplastic coating provides a proven, stronger and much more durable coating than paint. Fusion bonded to galvanised steel in a process controlled factory environment. Abcite provides greater protection and life expectancy than more expensive paint options. This system is endorsed by several PFI projects to guarantee column sustainability throughout the project and beyond.

For customers who opt for galvanised columns, we offer a unique method of applying Abcite protection to the area of the column most at risk to corrosion. Our automated process TRP Root provides a controlled thickness to both the inside and outside of the column. TRP offers peace of mind to protect the column most at risk to corrosion.

Hinged Column Doors

Strong, flush fitting and weather tight. Sentry hinged column doors look good, are vandal resistant and yet provide easy access when required.
